mission statement
The mission of your PTO is quite simple:
- It exists to promote the welfare and educational enrichment of your children in your home, in this school and in our community.
- It exists also to build a close relationship between home and school, so the parent-teacher team can cooperate more fully for the benefit of the child.
- It is organized exclusively to support Williamsburg Elementary School in its educational purposes under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
As a member of our school community, you are automatically a member of the PTO. Meetings are held monthly and you are encouraged to attend.
We encourage you to join the many Williamsburg Elementary School parents who already share their time and talents to create a parent organization marked by a tradition of excellence. Although volunteers spend many hours planning and producing the programs that benefit our children, no amount of your time is insignificant.
If you have only one hour to give to the PTO this year, please do so. Every minute you invest on behalf of our children constitutes a meaningful contribution!
